Vegeta IV is the son of King Vegeta and prince of the fallen Saiyan race. Fierce, regal, and full of pride, Prince Vegeta is Son Goku’s main rival and is one of the most admired characters in the Dragon Ball canon. Vegeta originally came to earth with the intention of gathering the dragon balls and asking the eternal dragon to grant him immortality. In defense of planet Earth, Goku and the Z-fighters engaged Vegeta in a legendary battle nearly resulting in the prince’s demise. Vegeta’s defeat at the hands of the Goku sparked a fantastic rivalry between them, and cultivated Vegeta’s desire to become the greatest Saiyan alive. In a feverish pursuit to surpass Goku, Vegeta traveled off-world to train with no distractions. When the planet he was training on was bombarded by an apocalyptic meteor shower, Vegeta had to achieve the legendary power of the Super Saiyan to survive. Eventually Vegeta grew to enjoy the Earth and his life there, leading him to become one of Earth’s and Universe 7’s mightiest defenders.
Playstyle
In Dragon Ball FighterZ, Vegeta (Super Saiyan) is a balanced footsies-based character armed with a full suite of tools that allow him to apply pressure at any range. Vegeta (Super Saiyan) has a self-sufficient combo-structure with access to strong mix-ups, assists, reversals, and a suite of super attacks that can be used anywhere on screen. Because of this, Vegeta (Super Saiyan) has found incredible success as an anchor for the entire life of Dragon Ball FighterZ. The recently implemented Limit Break mechanic has greatly empowered Vegeta (Super Saiyan), further increasing his viability and damage potential. Make sure to give Vegeta (Super Saiyan) a try in Season 3!

Vegeta fires a rapid barrage of ki blasts. If used in the air the blast will be angled downwards. Consecutive Energy Blast counts as a basic ki blast.
Super Dash Kick

Vegeta performs a long-range dashing kick. The heavy version travels full screen and can be converted into a full combo on hit.
Crushing Knee Kick

Vegeta launches an invincible rising knee kick while jumping forward. The heavy version will change sides on hit.
Interceptor Kick

Vegeta attacks from above with a downward-angled dive kick.
